Yes! It has stripes. Black and white ones, all over!
Does it have stripes?

For parents and teachers
Made for children, and nothing else
Thought Zoo practises asking good questions, listening and thinking things through, in English or Croatian. It's built for a child to play alone, or with a grown-up beside them.
No ads, no tracking
No advertising and no third-party analytics, as Apple's Kids category asks.
The microphone only while held
Sammy listens only while the big button is held. Speech becomes text and is never kept as a recording.
Progress stays on the device
Stars, medals and explorers live on the device. There are no accounts and no emails.
Grown-ups only beyond the gate
Buying, settings and anything that leaves the game sit behind a parental gate.
Questions from grown-ups
What age is Thought Zoo for?
Children aged 6 to 12. They play by voice, so they don't need to read well yet, and each adventure shows the age it suits. Younger children enjoy it with a grown-up beside them.
What does my child learn?
To ask good questions and narrow things down, like a detective. To speak clearly in English or Croatian, because Sammy has to understand them, and in the collection Sammy says each animal's name, so they hear how it is said. And about animals from habitats all over the world, with a fun fact at the end of every round.
Is it free?
The Farm is free, with no ads, ever. More adventures can be bought by a grown-up behind the parental gate: one at a time to keep, or all of them with a subscription.
Is the microphone safe?
Sammy listens only while the big button is held. What your child says becomes text to answer the question and is never kept as a recording. There are no ads, no tracking and no accounts, and children can type their questions instead. The privacy policy has the details.
Which languages does Sammy speak?
English and Croatian. A child can play in either, which makes Thought Zoo good speaking practice for children learning English.
What do we need to play?
A tablet, phone or computer with a microphone, and an internet connection: Sammy needs it to understand questions. Play in the browser, or in the apps for iPad, iPhone and Android.
Can we play it in class?
Yes. Open it on the classroom screen and let the children take turns asking Sammy. A whole class narrowing down one animal together is a lesson in asking good questions.
Sammy has picked an animal already.
